The MacAgy years, 1945-1950 / E. Bischoff. 1973.

A memoir of Bischoff's years at the California School of Fine Arts, San Francisco, presumably written for an exhibition in which Bischoff participated at the Oakland Museum in 1973. Douglas MacAgy, who directed the school beginning in 1945, hired Bischoff, Richard Diebenkorn, Clyfford Still and many other important artists as instructors. The photocopied typescript has some red ink underlines and other editorial-type markings. The Oakland Museum did not produce a catalog for the exhibition. It is unknown whether or not this text was ever published.
